Rent INCLUDES standard use of ALL utilities (heat, A/C, electricity, gas, water, sewer), ALSO including basic Verizon FIOS TV in common area; high speed FIOS internet with wireless router serving all rooms, with NO hidden or activation fees.
There is one full bathroom and one half bath, and plenty of storage space . For one person using the room privately, it is $600/month, all-inclusive. If you can provide a roommate and share it, it is only $400 per month per person. We also give individual (per person) leases; you are only responsible for your portion of the townhouse rental. Flexible lease terms: per semester,or school/calendar year. There are currently two male UD students in residence. The only personal criteria are a willingness to share the most basic of housekeeping chores, and to respect the rights of each other and of our neighbors.

Location, affordability, and convenience! This property is less than 1.5 miles on foot or by bike to Trabant Student Center or Morris Library. The community is directly opposite Handloff Park, with skateboard/BMX ramps, basketball, tennis courts, and a playground. The free campus shuttle bus stops two blocks from the townhouse, and at the local Suburban shopping center, so you do not need a car to get to campus or get groceries.
The entire townhouse is fully furnished, including kitchen/dining room. The available double room has new bunk beds with full size mattresses, walk-in closet, dresser, and two desks, plus the necessary lighting. The kitchen comes with a full complement of cooking and serving utensils, pots, pans, mixer, crock-pot, miscellaneous prep and storage items.
There is a full bathroom upstairs (shower/tub/sliding glass enclosure) plus a powder room on the main level.
A sliding glass door leads to a private fenced back yard with paving stone patio and locking bicycle storage shed.
The house has a brand new, efficient heating and central cooling system, and the residents can control the thermostat.
Waste disposal is clean and easy; the trash/recyclable bins are picked up from the rear of property and the main bins do not need to be moved.
The USPS delivers to the front door.
Parking is off street, directly in front for the house. There is one available assigned parking space, with unassigned spots for at least one more. There is no additional fee for parking.
Appliances are full-size: refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, stovetop/oven, clothes washer and dryer.
Exterior lights front and back come on and off automatically (photocells) for security.
Per City of Newark code, there are functional fire and CO2 alarms in place, and the property is inspected yearly, with a legal permit for 4 unrelated persons in residence.
